Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of arthounds.us and the member site at app.arthounds.us (the "Services"), operated by Honor Systems, Inc. ("ArtHounds", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to them.

Accounts

Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account was misused. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are free.

Your content

You keep ownership of the reviews and other content you submit. You give ArtHounds a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use it to run and promote the Services (for example, showing your review on a venue's page). Your content must not:

• be false, misleading, defamatory or knowingly inaccurate;
• name or describe the private lives of artists, staff or other visitors, or include contact details, links or addresses of people;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• contain harassment, hate or unlawful material; or
• be spam, fake reviews, or an attempt to manipulate grades, rankings or Hall of Fame voting.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Grades, judges and the Hall of Fame

Grades are the opinions of members, combined by a published formula. Judge certification and Hall of Fame voting are community features for enjoyment. They are not professional criticism, appraisal or accreditation of any venue.

Venue information

Listings come from public data and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Opening hours, admission and exhibitions change; check with the venue before you travel. Links to venue websites are provided for convenience and we do not control or endorse those sites. If a link is dead or unsafe, please flag it.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the Services at scale, probe them for weaknesses, interfere with their operation, or use them to harass anyone.

No warranty; limits

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, ArtHounds is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything arising from a visit you make or a venue you choose.
